Mindfulness Facilitator Training (B) About In Mindfulness Facilitator B, part two of our Mindfulness Facilitator Training, you will deepen your meditation practice, develop facilitation skills, and practise delivering short mindfulness sessions. This module will take place online (we also offer this module in-person, view training dates here). On this module you will: Take your learning deeper and build on knowledge and skills gained in Mindfulness Facilitator A. Learn to facilitate the six mindfulness mini-modules which can be use to create your own sessions and courses. Learn how to facilitate group reflection. Learn how to use enactments to illustrate learning. What's Included Module overview and orientation information. Videos, handouts and other resources. Guidance for reflective assignments. Additional learning resources and links. Group reflective space where you will be able to share assignments, reflections and experiences with your fellow trainees and trainer. A learning community of fellow trainees from around the world. During the Module you will Take part in eight live online group sessions, led by an experienced Breathworks trainer, across 4 weeks. These sessions will be help on Zoom Experience learning during your interactive sessions with your fellow trainees and your trainer in a vibrant, supportive learning community. Andrea has been a member of the senior training team for Breathworks for over 10 years. She was trained by the Breathworks founders, and has since gone on to train and supervise hundreds of new Breathworks mindfulness teachers. An experienced and well-qualified wellbeing practitioner, she has taught and practised complementary health, stress management and resilience training for over 20 years, working with all ages and diversities in Merseyside and North West of England. Andrea is committed to enabling individuals in taking an active and integrative approach to their wellbeing. She encourages a deep understanding of the connection and relationship between body, mind and spirit. In her freelance work, she has brought mindfulness to areas including women’s refuge, rehab and recovery, suicide prevention and mental health awareness training. In her own practice of supporting others she has become particularly interested in the cycles of nature, and how we can align ourselves with its natural rhythms. Steve Smith This course will be led by experienced Breathworks teacher Steve Smith. Steve has worked in both the private and public sector as a Personal Development Coach, and also as a Couples Counsellor for Relate. He spent many years as a professional Yacht Skipper and RYA Sailing Instructor before training as a Mindfulness Teacher. He is a core Teacher Trainer for Breathworks, Teacher and Supervisor. He delivers both ‘Mindfulness for Health’ and ‘Mindfulness for Stress’ programmes and is a qualified Mindfulness in Schools teacher for young people. Steve has lived experience of managing an ongoing chronic pain condition, and uses the techniques he teaches on a daily basis to help manage pain and daily life. When he’s not working Steve enjoys walking in the New Forest and along the South Coast, playing with his water colour paints and making music with one of his many guitars.
