Learn about our Mindfulness for Stress course Stress is inevitable. Struggling is not. Life can be demanding — work pressures, family responsibilities, health challenges, or just the sheer pace of everything. But while stress is part of being human, how we relate to it can change everything. That’s where mindfulness comes in. It teaches us a new way of responding — with awareness, steadiness, and self-compassion — rather than reacting from overwhelm or anxiety. And the good news? It’s not something you either “have” or “don’t.” It’s a skill you can learn. Through our 8-week Mindfulness for Stress course, thousands of people have discovered a practical toolkit for facing life with more calm, clarity, and resilience. 🧘♀️ In a 2022 research study, 79% of participants reported reduced anxiety, and 87% reported reduced depression after completing the course. 🌟 Between 2023–2025, over 100 people rated the course an average of 4.7 out of 5 — reflecting the deep impact it's had on their lives. Each year, this tried and tested 8-week framework transforms lives. We would love for you to be one of them. What Topics Are Covered? What is mindfulness and meditation How to find a meditation position that works for you Learning how to stop stress, anxiety and worry from spiralling out of control How to work with difficult thoughts The brain's innate preference for the negative, and how to overcome this How to ease tension in the body with the breath and gentle movement Ways to bring about more balance in life, to soothe our nervous systems The importance of connection, with ourselves and others Course Format The course combines weekly live Zoom sessions with home practice in between — designed to support different ways of learning and help the material gradually settle into your day-to-day life. Live Weekly Zoom Sessions Each week, you’ll join a 2-hour Zoom call with your course teacher and a small group of up to 12 others. Sessions are varied and interactive, offering different ways to engage with the week’s theme. You can expect: A short presentation introducing a new idea or practice Demonstrations or simple exercises to explore the theme in a practical way A guided meditation, related to the teaching Time to reflect or ask questions, if you’d like (always optional) We aim to create a supportive and inclusive space where you can learn in the way that suits you — whether that’s through listening, doing, discussing, or observing. Home Practice Mindfulness is a skill — like learning an instrument or building physical strength — and it takes gentle, consistent practice for it to really take root. At the end of each live session, your teacher will suggest a short meditation and a simple daily-life practice to explore during the week. These usually take around 10–15 minutes a day, and are designed to fit into real life — even busy ones. Many people notice small shifts quite quickly — a moment of calm, a little more patience, a clearer head. But the deeper change comes with repetition. Regular practice helps to re-wire the brain’s habitual stress responses and strengthen new patterns of awareness and resilience over time. You’ll get the most from the course if you’re able to try the home practice — but we know that life can be unpredictable. Whether you’ve practised regularly or not at all, you’re always encouraged to come along to the sessions and take part in whatever way feels right for you.
